The Young Changemakers platform offers a wide range of exciting, fun and interactive environmental workshops for kids between 6 – 14 years. Our Children’s programmes run from our studio situated at Schipholpoort 100 in Haarlem. We cover a variety of topics such as upcycling raw materials and integrating cultural heritage techniques. During the workshops we teach skills in how to re-pair, re-use, re-duce and re-cycle.
As it comes to building a more sustainable future, there is no bigger asset than today’s youth. They hold an important role in making a positive impact on the world.
Helina has worked for more than 10 years within (inter)national design processes for several fashion brands. She likes to pass on “design thinking” skills which she learned through her own journey of exploring design.
